Liger Signal Boost, Old Rhymes, Boats, and a Girl

SIGNAL BOOST!!!!!

I’ve been a long-time supporter of Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge and at the end of August, Brady Liger fell ill to a fungal infection. If you can donate something, anything at all, please consider supporting their efforts. Your donations can help pay for medical expenses, food, and bigger enclosures for the animals.

And here are two writerly things I’m going to try to take advantage of this September. The first is my local library’s Banned Books Writing Contest and the second is an international open call for submissions from the Black Library and the Warhammer 40K Universe.

Signal Boost!

Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is an organization and rescue facility that is very dear to my heart.

One of the residents there, a white tiger named Blackfire, needs emergency surgery.

If you can spare anything, even a dollar, please make a donation.

Black Fire – DOB: 5/10/16, Sex: Male, Arrival Date: 9/30/16, History: Black Fire, who came to TCWR with a form of Metabolic Bone Disease, was one of 115 animals that Turpentine Creek acquired when we took over a facility in Colorado. Personality: Much healthier, Black Fire is a curious cat, who will take any opportunity to investigate.

Thank you!
