You can’t see it but there are three stars making a diagonal line down from the crescent moon (the odd, white blob in the top left corner) to a white light on the ground. The streak of light in the center of the frame came later, an unexpected visitor or a gouge in the blue black plane severing the tether of moon to earth. I saw this as a dotted line connecting me to you but now it’s not anymore. It’s something else. Streaking away.
