My name is Jessica and I am an independent, self-publishing author.
I write poetry and horror fiction. Also a little urban fantasy and sci-fi. If you’re a fan of Poppy Z. Brite, Kathe Koja, Laurell K. Hamilton, Chuck Wendig, or Wislawa Szymborska you might enjoy my work too.
I’m currently working on two book series: The Slaughter Chronicles and The Heart of the Forest Cycle.
The Slaughter Chronicles is in the forefront right now and is about vampires, werewolves, and demons.
The Heart of the Forest Cycle is about fairies/faeries/the fey.
I also write poetry. Poetry is my favorite.
More personal stuff about me:
In 2015 I married my best friend and I sometimes reference him and our shenanigans in my blog.
When I’m not writing I love to read and exist in a horizontal state (read: nap), sometimes I do yard work–but not gardening–and yoga, sometimes I try to teach myself how to play guitar. I love horror movies, anime, podcasts about writing, and AuthorTube.
I also love hanging out with my cats.
